Baltic Group is a national leader in keeping your plant and equipment in action.
Baltic Group was founded in 2019 by Lloyd Strutynski and Elliott Magnus, who met while studying their trades certificates and decided to forge a collaboration after years of working together.
Their shared vision and commitment to excellence laid the groundwork for Baltic Group’s rapid expansion in the mining, resources, and utilities sectors. In early 2023, Baltic Group entered a new phase of growth by integrating Beau Hargrave and Todd Saron into its leadership team. Beau and Todd bring many years of experience in electrical and diesel work.
As of 2024, the business has continued to extend its reach into Western Australia, solidifying its presence across both the east and west coast of Australia.
For Baltic Group, the future is bright, and there’s much more to come as we strive to set new standards in service and innovation within the industry.

MEET THE DIRECTORS.
Elliott Magnus - Baltic Group Director
Elliott Magnus is the co-founder and co-owner of Baltic Group, providing strategic direction across all divisions and leads the Engineering Division along with Lloyd backed by a wealth of experience in mechanical fitting.
Elliott began his mechanical fitter apprenticeship in 2011 at Plane Creek Sugar Mill. This role provided him with invaluable exposure to various aspects of mechanical fitting, including machining, heavy mechanical maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics—allowing him to develop a well-rounded skill set in the field.
Upon completing his trade, Elliott transitioned into the mining industry, where he gained further experience in fixed plant maintenance. Over four years, he successfully completed shutdown work for three different OEMs, which enriched his knowledge of maintenance operations.
During this period, Elliott took on sales and supervisory roles, broadening his understanding of the operational and business facets of the industry.
Elliott’s breadth of experience and his commitment to excellence make him a pivotal leader within the Engineering Division at Baltic Group. His hands-on background and diverse skill set ensure that the division operates with both technical proficiency and a keen understanding of industry dynamics, positioning Baltic Group as a reliable partner in engineering solutions across various sectors.
Lloyd Strutynski - Baltic Group Director
Lloyd Strutynski brings over a decade of extensive experience in mechanical fitting, boilermaking, and plant maintenance. As the co-founder and co-owner of Baltic Group, he leads all divisions, with a particular focus on the Engineering Division alongside Elliott.
Starting his career in 2012 as an apprentice, Lloyd quickly established himself in wash plants, mastering both maintenance and operations. His commitment and skill led him to complete his boilermaking training within the same organization, setting a strong foundation for his future success.
Lloyd has also excelled in various roles across the mineral processing sector, including supervision, coordination, and sales. This diverse experience has provided him with deep insights into wash plant processes, significantly enhancing his maintenance strategies and problem-solving capabilities.
Under Lloyd’s leadership, the Engineering Division specializes in fixed plant maintenance and workshop fabrication, driven by a relentless focus on quality and efficiency. His vision and expertise are key to the division’s success and growth.
Beau Hargrave - Baltic Group Electrical Director
Beau Hargrave serves as the Director of the Electrical Division at Baltic Group, bringing 14 years of experience in the electrical industry.
Beau spent over a decade owning and operating his own electrical contracting company, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of electrical installations, maintenance, and breakdown services across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Beau’s entrepreneurial background armed him with a strong business acumen, enabling him to effectively lead and manage diverse projects.
Over the past four years, Beau has redirected his focus to encompass the mining industry while also maintaining his expertise in residential and commercial electrical services.
His leadership within the Electrical Division is characterised by a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all electrical systems and services provided meet the highest standards in the industry, while also adapting to the unique challenges presented in the mining sector.
Todd Saron - Baltic Group Diesel Director
Todd Saron is the Director of the Diesel Division at Baltic Group, leveraging 18 years of extensive experience in the diesel industry.
His background encompasses everything from heavy mobile equipment (HME) maintenance to servicing, repairs, and rebuilds across various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This wealth of knowledge positions Todd as a key leader in the division, dedicated to enhancing the quality and efficiency of diesel services offered by Baltic Group.
Under Todd’s direction, the Diesel Division operates as a comprehensive service hub for all earth-moving equipment repairs. The division prides itself on being a one-stop shop that handles all aspects of offsite equipment repairs, ranging from preventative maintenance to complete equipment rebuilds.
